Tanya currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Supervisory Board of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex in Uzbekistan, the nation’s largest copper producer. She was elected to the board as part of economic reforms initiated by the government of Uzbekistan, supported by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EBRD, and other international institutions, aimed at enhancing independent board membership within State Owned Enterprises (SOEs). In this capacity, she leverages her expertise in finance, mining, and corporate governance to assist the company and its management in strengthening governance practices, aligning them with international standards to attract global investors.
